  • HENNESSY PHOTOSHOOT WITH ERYKAH BADU & THE ROOTS

This past Sunday, SOAPBOX PRODUCTIONS provided entertainment production for the making of Hennessy’s new campaign starring Erykah Badu & The Roots at Fast Ashleys studios. With the shoot produced by the Keystone Design Union, DJ Scott Melker provided all the right vibes on our DJ SYSTEM 1 setup with a Mackie SRM150 monitor upgrade. We were entertained by impromptu surprise guest DJ sets by Erykah Badu herself, along with the many moments of hilarity with The Roots’ own ?uestlove over song selections (which made it to Twitter). We want to thank the cool folks at the KDU & Hennessy for having us— it was a fun shoot to be a part of, and we can’t wait to see the images in the finished campaign.

Check out some of the coverage from the photoshoot below both from us and Scott.

On February 17th, 2011, SOAPBOX PRODUCTIONS provided technical production detail for the Fifth Avenue flagship store opening of GUESS. With New York Fashion Week in full orbit, DJ Dexter Love entertained a stylish group of attendees comprised of fashion industry opinion leaders, editors and bloggers, with our DJ SYSTEM 1 setup and a Mackie SRM150 monitor upgrade. Guests included NYLON’s Dani Stahl, Marvin Jarrett and Jaclynn Jarrett, VOGUE.COM editor Meredith Melling Burke, and, Melissa Berkelhammer of The Huffington Post. The event was a great success thanks to the fine folks at PMK*BNC and the amazing team at GUESS— welcome to Fifth Avenue, we wish you all the best!
